So for many people in the world, fibromyalgia (fibro) and chronic fatigue syndrome (cfs) are a very real and an everyday way of life. Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue are syndromes that effect the mind, body and soul of the sufferer.

Fibromyalgia or fibro as it is often known, effects the bones and muscles of the sufferer leading to widespread pain and fatigue, these are the main symptoms of fibro that are typical of every sufferer. There are many other aspects of these conditions that do vary from person to person, some of these are listed below,

irritable bowl, http://www.thefreedictionary.com/IBS,

over active bladder,                           http://medicaldictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Overactive+bladder,

chronic headaches,                                                                                                                http://medicaldictionary.thefreedictionary.com/chronic+headaches,                                cognitive impairment that is often known as fibro fog,                                                            https://www.azdictionary.com/urban-dictionary/definition/fibrofog,                                  sensory overload, http://www.dictionary.com/browse/sensory-overload                            costochondritis,                                                                                                                      http://medicaldictionary.thefreedictionary.com/costochondritis

but the list is endless. Not every sufferer has the same symptoms of these conditions.

Many other conditions are often related to these to these syndromes, such as rheumatoid arthritis, http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/rheumatoid+arthritis, lupus, http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Lupus and restless leg syndrome.

Along with the physical aspects of these conditions there are the emotional aspects such as guilt, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and many feel like a burden to family and friends. Many sufferers, close down, wont talk or are often to tired to talk about anything, inc how they are feeling. Imagine how it would feel to be a prisoner in your own body, for fibro sufferers, this is what it feels like.

What makes this site special is that it is run by a suffer who has many friends who also have the same conditions. This site will talk about these conditions from all angles, from the medical, the sufferer and even their families. I know my children are keen to discuss this from their points of views. I intend to inform about these conditions from the inside and out, with the good the bad and the ugly aspects of them.

When it comes to these illness the jargon and processes of them can be very confusing and hard to explain. I am hoping to break the conditions down into a language that all  ages will understand. Once this website is up and running I am hoping to unite all those who are affected by the conditions or know someone who is.

I would very much welcome input into the site, my site is your site and I want to make it the best for all concerned. Anyway my name is leigh, our email is on the page feel free to get in touch.
